The legends may be gone but their work remain in the spirit and show us the way. No we are not paying obeisance to late Marlon Brando but it is something for Mallika Sherawat, who's out of country to shoot for her Jackie Chan flick.

It's only due to her unflinching efforts, we now see sex out of closet and flourishing, with some extra help from Neha Dhupia. The Delhi girl surely deserves a pat on her back from her mentor, for she never let the sleaze go out of fashion despite her absence.

Ask her director, Deepak Shivdasani and he'll tell you, there is nothing sexy about Dhupia but still she is one special, who deserved the protagonist's role in his sleaze flick 'Julie'.

‘‘She doesn't have such a great body. Her hips are like a container but she still got the role because she suited it.'' crudely comments Deepak, who'd already burnt his fingers with 'Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke'.

But Neha doesn't give a darn. According to some, she has overshadowed Mallika Sherawat and Bipasha Basu with her hard work and that is suffice for her to rejoice.

She concedes, "Julie has love-making scenes and shots exposing my bare back. But I never thought for a moment about what my dad would say when he see these scenes. I had a job to do. I don't give a damn if a lightman is gawking at my legs or if I have to kiss a man before 50 others."

"I'm not affected by the sex symbol tag. I have grown beyond reacting to such statements. In today's time, either sex sells or Shah Rukh Khan. So I would rather be a sex prop in my next five films," she adds.

But the million dollar question remains, is she really topless in the film? Director Shivdasani reveals." There are three scenes. In the first scene, Neha is shown in a bra and in the second she is topless. In the third, there is a long smooch between Neha and Sanjay Kapoor."

The Censor Board clears the Julie with 11 cuts. Don't forget to take your suntan lotions, it's going to be HOT!
