With the first monsoon showers hitting the country's coasts, romance has bloomed once again in the scorching environs of our beloved Bollywood. And the first couple to find words for their chocolate romance is strangely Kareena and Shahid.
The brash queen goes all mushy while talking about Shahid, as the cupid's arrow strikes the right note with her.
"Shahid is a beautiful guy and I adore all his qualities. When feeling low, I can call him any time and if it has been a bad day, his warm words can heal the rough patch," says Kareena in a tone you don't often hear from her.
But how this impossible happened still befuddles many industrywallahs. The actress known for her temperament and spunk fell for a guy who is reserved, calm and more often passive. But we say, opposite attract. Don't they?
Shahid finds Bebo an extremely wonderful person and says, "She is everything one could ask for. She is someone with whom he doesn't have to pretend. Her warmth and care are all I can ask for. No matter what, I will always be there for her," in mellifluous words.
Bebo's said to have struck a right note with Shahid mother's Neelima, who recently got married again. No wonder, the many in the industry are hearing wedding bells in the offing. But Bebo has chose to keep her cards close to her chest and so has Shahid.
She says, "If I commit to a relationship with him, I want to nurture it." So, if five years down the line things are meant to be, it will be! "
As for Shahid, the whiz kid lives for the moment and prays for a permanent seal on their friendship.
"I'm looking for a long and fruitful future. In seven months I've got to know her so well. Both of us are looking at a permanent relationship. Neither of us is frivolous. We hardly get time together, and whatever time we have, we make sure it's valuably used," he gushes.
For the moment, the cosy couple is playing the denial game but deep inside the chocolate boy knows that he is one helluva lucky guy. The Kapoor babe is so possessive about her that we just heard her muttering, "I do not mind being put behind the bars for killing any woman who dared have an eye on Shahid."
