Neha Dhupia's streetwalker act in "Julie" will face competition from "Asambhav" that releases the same day and stars former Miss World Priyanka Chopra. The film, produced by Gulshan Rai and directed by Rajiv Rai, has veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah and Arjun Rampal in the lead.
"Gayab", starring Tusshar Kapoor as an invisible man, that released Friday is likely to stay on the marquees till next week and will give both "Julie" and "Asambhav" some competition.
The experimental film co-starring Antara Mali in a sizzling hot role is yet another product from Ram Gopal Varma's production house - The Factory. But the film falls way short of the novel idea.
The film's biggest drawback is a screenplay by director Prawaal Raman. The film would have gone off the marquee within the first two days but its aggressive promotion will see it through a week at least.
This would give Salman Khan's "Garv" another week to continue as the box-office favourite. His film is unlikely to be removed from most screens by anything other than then next Salman release, which is "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge" that co-stars Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar.
