And why should she?
She has ladykiller Salman Khan shooting right next door.
Yes! The hunky superstar is busy shooting for his forthcoming film 'Dabaang' right next to the grand set of 'Jhansi Ki Rani' at N. D. Studio where Kratika's been spending night & day, preparing for her tough role.
Be it swordsmanship, horse-riding or just mastering the dialect, Kratika is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that she plays the legendary freedom fighter with dignity and elan.
Kratika says she's all kicked about the challenging role she's been offered and her budding friendship with childhood heartthrob Salman Khan on the sets of the show has been a dream come true.
"He's been a complete sweetheart. We bumped into each other a couple of times just outside the set. He was very encouraging when he heard that I'm gearing up to play the role of Rani Lakshmi Bai. He even offered me tips on horse-riding and stunts," Kratika said.
If the buzz is anything to go by, Salman is completely floored by Kratika's arresting persona and has even recommended her name to a couple of film producers.
With such positive reports about Kratika already doing the rounds, one cannot wait for young 'Manu' to grow up. While the audience will miss the immensely talented Ulka Gupta who played the younger 'Jhansi Ki Rani' with aplomb, all eyes are now firmly focused on Kratika Sengar!
Bring it on, lady ...
