If a man's kiss is his signature, then Anil Kapoor has signed on a lot of dotted lines in his lifetime. After portraying his masterstroke on some of the most beautiful canvasses in Bollywood, veteran Kapoor is all set to leave his mark on the current hottest babe, Sameera Reddy.
Come October and you'll see the two locking lips on screen in Sanjay Gupta's 'Musafir', where Sameera plays a wanton wife to Mahesh Majrekar and share physical relationship with all three leading men - Suniel Shetty, Anil Kapoor and Mahesh Manjrekar.
What amazes everyone in Bollywood is how Sameera agreed to play such a role when she refused Mahesh Bhatt for the lead role in 'Murder', given the nudity it required. But the Reddy junior has her reasons for accepting the role.
According to her, $-e-x needs to be portrayed a little more sensitively in Bollywood films.
"Today $-e-x is not being portrayed in an aesthetic manner in Bollywood. Films like 'Murder', 'Jism' and 'Kwhahish' manage to create a sensation only because of their shock value. However I have tried to portray $-e-x more artistically in 'Musafir'," she asserts.
Her only contention is that nobody is raising the eyebrows at the other girls who are doing much bolder scenes.
"Look around... other actresses are doing much more than kiss in their films," she says.
"Okay, there are oodles of titillating scenes, including kissing here but everything blends into the storyline. That goes for the songs in the film, which are quite $-e-xy. In fact, I did plenty of wriggling in a song -- the whole look, act, outfit is $-e-xy."
However Anil is completely bowled over by the feisty babe.
"I get energised by new entrants like Sameera. She passes on her enthusiasm to people like me. I've done much more than kiss in films like 'Parinda'. This is hardly anything. In fact, I wanted more, but they wouldn't let me," he asks with a wink.
