It's been just a few days since the arrival of the monsoons but the impact has been quite profound so far. And as if reports of the rains in newspapers and on television weren't enough, it is spilling out on to the
cyberspace too.
Twitter is replete with celebrities commenting about the advent of the monsoon and its effect on the shooting schedules. Indeed, outdoor shooting plans can go for a toss by a sudden, unexpected shower.
Genelia D'souza, who is shooting down South, agrees. "Gd mrng all..shoot put on hold as its rainin here, pray dat it clears up a bit n v can shoot, " she tweets.
Shruti Seth, who is shooting for My Friend Pinto with Pratiek Babbar, tweets after the first showers – "It's been raining for less than an hour and the city is already flooding. Welcome monsoon!"
She's even put
up a picture of a flooded lane on her profile page, with the caption - "that's the road to my house.. Been flooding like that every monsoon for the last 10 years. Jai ho BMC"
We wonder what happened to the 'rain, rain come again' sentiment?
