It was a great honour for me to represent my country Pakistan in the Charity Match arranged by Salman Khan's NGO
"Being Human" in Dubai last week. I personally feel these kind of initiatives bring humanity closer for which we all strive.
I have always supported Organizations working for the cause of humanity.
Salman Khan is a big name
of Bollywood and I took pride in not only supporting the cause of his NGO "Being Human" but also representing the
Pakistani Stars who flew to Dubai to attend this event and show their solidarity not only with Salman but also with
Humanity ingeneral.
I am a bit disturbed by the way an Indian newspaper has scandalized my appearance and
linked me in a devious way to Salman Khan.
I feel this kind of yellow journalism only goes to widen the gap
between
human beings and especially can strain relationship between two neighboring countries. I expect and hope that they will print this statement on my behalf in defense of the scandalous report printed earlier on this topic.
