South Indian producers are upset the film was shot in Sri Lanka

Salman Khan's decision to shoot parts of his next film Ready in Sri Lanka may cost him dear. Apparently, Salman Khan, who had gone to the island country for an awards function, fell in love with the place and persuaded his director to shoot there.

This has angered the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFCC), who claim they will not let any film shot in Sri Lanka be released in South India.

Media reports claiming that on Salman's insistence, parts of the film which were supposed to be shot in Mauritius were shot in Sri Lanka instead, have angered the SIFCC. The officials have now decided to talk to Salman and the film's team to verify the reports before taking any action.

Meanwhile, the SIFCC claims it has no intention of stopping the release of those films whose cast and crew attended the awards function.

So Milenge Milenge, Rakta Charitra and Raavan, whose cast members Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Nikhil Dwivedi and Govinda had attended the awards function, will be released as per schedule.
