Don't get confused, he is very much into acting and it will be for the sake of a film only. There is a speculation that the Hindi remake of the South Indian director Siddique's Malayalam film Bodyguard, will be cast will Deepika Padukone opposite the Wanted star Salman Khan.
The Malayalm version of the film was released in March. The leading South Indian director Siddique wrote and directed the film himself.
The story of the film deals with a young man, who gets attracted to people, with heroic qualities and follows them like a bodyguard. But, the interesting twist comes when he is hired to accompany a businessman's gorgeous daughter to college as a real bodyguard.
In the Malayalam version of Bodyguard, South Indian actors Dileep and Nayantara were in the lead roles. Currently, the director is busy with the Tamil version of the film, which stars Asin and the South superstar Vijay.
Many other filmmakers approached Siddique but only Atul Agnihotri managed to get the rights for the Hindi version of the film. Siddique will take up the role of the director and writer in the Hindi version after completing the Tamil one.
Salman Khan has confirmed playing the lead role but Deepika is not sure yet. Atul informed that they were still working on the script. He added, "We are still completing other important tasks before we decide on signing the actors."
Atul said that the shooting of the film will commence on December 6 in Ranikhet.
