Kangna surprised at length of her role in Kites

Kangna Ranaut says she didn't expect her role in Kites to be as short as it was in the final version. Kangna, who had worked with director Anurag Basu in Life In A Metro and Gangster before Kites, said that while they had not discussed the length of her role in minutes before she signed up, she had felt her role would be longer than it ended up being.

Despite this, Kangna has no dispute with the makers of the film. She believes that neither Anurag nor producer Rakesh Roshan intentionally short changed her by cutting her role.

However, she and Anurag have decided to wait a while and work with other filmmakers before collaborating on a project again.

Kites was Hrithik Roshan's latest release, a love story starring him as an Indian who falls in love with a Spanish beauty played by Barbara Mori.
