John Abraham fans can rejoice. His much delayed film Aashayein will finally release on August 13. Nagesh Kukunoor (of Iqbal fame) has directed the film and it's the first time the two have worked together.

John plays Rahul, a gambling addict, who finally finds the true meaning of life one day. John reportedly lost 16 kgs for the role. Iqbal hero Shreyas Talpade makes a special appearance.
