Shruti Haasan and Siddharth are now playing lovebirds on screen as well. The couple feature together in an untitled Telugu film, directed by K Prakash Rao. Shooting for the epic fantasy adventure is already in progress.
Says a source, "Shruti was already shooting for a Tamil film. It was Siddharth who convinced her to act in the Telugu film as well. She plays his love interest in the latter."
Under wraps
According to tinsel town buzz, the two youngsters are often spotted together and are very comfortable with each other. Though they are keeping things under wraps, common friends are aware of their relationship.
Kamal Haasan's daughter has tweeted, "I am doing a Telugu film (untitled at the moment) with the super talented Siddharth."
The film is being produced by K Raghavendra Rao while Walt Disney Pictures has acquired the distribution rights of the film and it is expected to release early next year.
Reveals the source, "The fantasy adventure film is set in the fictitious land of Sangarashtra and explores the inseparable bond between man and the myths that remain relevant even today.
The story focuses on the journey of a nine-year-old girl with special healing powers and her quest to save Sangarashtra from the tyranny of an evil Queen. The girl is protected by a blind swordsman (played by Sid) who faces great adversity. Shruti plays a gypsy woman and Siddharth's lover."
After Shruti completes the Telugu film, she begins shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil To Baccha Hai Ji.
