After an all women first season of "Kitchen Champion", the afternoon cookery game show will be back with its second installment, but this time with male actors also.

"It was a logical step for us to follow the phenomenal success of the show with a second season. The format with a twist will be filled with lots of cheer, great enthusiasm and of course, brilliant recipes, " said Ashvini Yardi, programming head, Colors.

Actor Ronit Roy will continue to host the show and the teams will have six men competing against six ladies in the kitchen.

The men's team will be called "Mast Munde" and will see actors like Nandish Sandhu, Ayub Khan, Aditya, Sharad Kelar, Gaurav Khanna and Ashutosh Kaushik.

The ladies team of "Kool Kudiyan" will comprise Rashmi Desai, Richa Soni, Supriya Kumari, Kishori Shahane, Asawari Joshi and Rupali Ganguly.

The second season will be aired from July 12 on Colors.

In the first season of "Kitchen Champion", a group of actresses were divided into two groups and each team nominated a player to make a recipe. The show had lots of fun games too to keep the entertainment quotient high.
