"Madhoshi" is a romantic thriller and revolves around a college-going student played by Bipasha Basu
who is like any other girl initially. Then comes the trauma of her elder sister's death in the 9/11
attack in the US.
But the historic tragedy is not what the movie is about. The sultry actress is engaged to Priyanshu
Chatterjee, who runs an advertisement company, but is in love with John Abraham who is a member
of an anti-terrorist organisation!
Noted dialogue writer Tanveer Khan turns director with this film, which has been scripted by
him.
"This is a subject that you
have never seen in Hindi cinema," says Khan, who has given hits like "Jigar" and "Ishq".
Art director Amit Mishra has recreated a Parsi neighbourhood for the film.
Singer Roop
Kumar Rathod also turns music director with this film. The songs have been penned by Shakeel
Aazmi.
Cinematography is by Johney Lal and sound direction by S.K. Srivastava. Bhiku Verma had directed
the film's action.
