Riteish Deshmukh is eager to produce Marathi films. The Housefull actor claims that Marathi cinema has evolved over the years and today's Marathi films have very good stories that need to be told.

He hopes he will be able to contribute in boosting the industry. However, Riteish does not expect to act in his own productions.

In fact, he has already been offered a couple of Marathi films, but was unable to accept them due to previous commitments.

Riteish has decided he will act in a film only if he believes the role suits him. So for now, he is content being a producer.
