Rakesh Roshan has decided to direct the third installment of his alien series in an attempt to get his son Hrithik's career back on track after Kites bombed at the box office.

He has already started work on the script with Robin Bhatt.

They have already locked in on the basic premise of the sequel. The Roshans hope that the father - dad combo, which has given other hits like Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai, Koi Mil Gay and Krrish, will bring in the audiences once again.
