Indian TV empress Ekta Kapoor is busy cooking up the desi version of the hit 'Twilight Saga'. The original series features heart-throb Robert Pattison and is a love story that involves vampires.

Ekta has decided that Robert Pattison's character would be played by Vivan Bhatena. The lead character is called Abhay. The character of Abhay is based on that of Pattison.

When asked about the forthcoming project involving desi vampires, Vivan seemed to be a little reluctant to answer. He however agrees that he's been approached by the makers of the show. He was then asked if he was interested to take up such a role, to which he said 'Yes' and nothing else.

He has chiseled features and also a female fan following. He was seen in the films Karthik Calling Karthik, Chak De India and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. He debuted as a child actor way back in 1987 in the movie Mr.India.
