Kareena Kapoor had a haircut in her vanity van on the sets of her film

If you can't go to the salon, make it come to you. And that's exactly what Kareena Kapoor did on the sets of Golmaal 3 in Film City yesterday. The actress, who has been shooting non-stop, hasn't had time to go for a trim for months.

She decided it was time to stop putting it off. The actress had Pompy Hans, her personal hairstylist of three years, to tend to her tresses in her vanity van.

No break
Says a source close to Kareena, "She had been shooting continuously without a break last year except for a short Christmas break with Saif. Since January she has been even busier shooting for her various endorsements, and films -- Stepmom, Golmaal 3, Ra.One and Agent Vinod. She had just let her hair grow which was toubling Pompy. He declared he would cut her hair on the sets itself.

Though Pompy travels with Bebo for her shootings, he hadn't been able to convince her to give him about 30 minutes to work his magic with his scissors.

Innocent look
Pompy says, "She has been busy shooting and travelling but I insisted she had to cut her hair as it had grown too long. We have kept Kareena's earlier style but just layered it in keeping with the song she's shooting for G3. She looks the best in this style. Without make-up, she looks innocent and sweet -- like she did in her first film Refugee."

Kareena returned from Morocco last week after shooting for Agent Vinod. She was in Mumbai for the shoot of G3 and left last night for London for the shoot of Ra.One -- this time with freshly trimmed ends.
