When Mika Singh refused a concert last fortnight because of a sore throat little did he realize what was to follow! The next thing he knew, ace cricketer Kapil Dev was on the phone from Dubai, inquiring why Mika had refused to perform for this particular concert.

Mika was too thrilled to receive a phone call from his childhood idol! He told Kapil Dev that due to back to back concerts, his vocal chords were a bit fatigued and he was unable to sing in another concert on doctor's orders.

Kapil Dev revealed that it was he who had recommended Mika's name for the concert and he would be very disappointed to not hear him sing. At this point Mika decided to throw caution to the winds and agreed to sing for this concert, but on one condition – Paaji had to dance to his songs!

Kapil Dev, who has never been seen dancing before at a social function, agreed to do it, just for Mika and so Mika took up the concert despite his throat condition. And sure enough Kapil Dev kept his word, flying in especially from Dubai to attend this concert.

The legendary cricketer was seen boogying to 'Mauja Hi Mauja', 'Apni Tow Jaise Taise' and 'Singh Is Kingg', much to everyone's surprise.

"Yes, I was advised by the doctor not to sing for a few days so that my vocal chords could recover, but this was no ordinary person, this was Kapil Paaji. How can anyone in India refuse anything if paaji requests it!

I've only met him once for 5 mins in Chandigarh and had always hoped to meet my idol properly, so when he himself called me for this concert there was no way I was going to let this chance go!" gushed Mika Singh.
