Saif shoots for Agent Vinod at same location as Sex And The City 2

Saif Ali Khan recently shot at the same location where significant scenes of Sex And The City 2 were filmed. For his next home production Agent Vinod directed by Sriram Raghavan, Khan chose the recently opened Mandarin Oriental Jnan Rahma Hotel in Marrakech as one of the locations.

Charmed
Says a source, "Saif's builder-architect friend Jouad and his wife own the hotel. When Saif was on a holiday last year with Kareena, his friends invited him over for dinner at the luxury resort.

Saif was stunned by the absolute beauty of the place with its blend of oriental themes in each suite. The hotel is situated in the exclusive Palmeraie beneath the Atlas Mountains. Saif came away charmed and was adamant they shoot there."

The clincher
On returning to India, Saif decided to show his partner Dinesh Vijan and director Sriram the location. It was agreed that a few sequences be shot there. What clinched the deal was that the Marrakech resort was one of the sets for the 'Abu Dhabi' hotel featured in Sex And The City 2."

Dinesh Vijan confirms the location and adds, "Saif found this location. It belongs to one of his close friends. Our film is not in the same genre as Sex And The City 2 but the location was stunning and the scene shaped up very well. We needed to shoot a mansion section as someone's house."
