The John Abrahm-Sonal Sehgal starrer Aashayein is finally slated to release on August 27. Nagesh Kukunoor's slice-of-life film has been complete for over two years its audio launch was held in May 2008!

The Percept project faced several hiccups post-production. Even when the promos were out, they appeared dark and dreary.

With everything working out well, John too will finally be seen on the big screen after a long gap.
