Ajay Devgn has done it again. He has delivered his third hit of 2010. Three hit films in the same year is a record. It began with Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, followed by Raajneeti and now Once Upon A Time In Mumbai.
That's not all. The brooding actor has three more releases lined up for 2010 -- Golmaal 3, Aakrosh and Toonpur Ka Superhero. This year truly belongs to Mr Devgn.
The celebrations have already begun. Producer Ekta Kapoor is having a party this Wednesday at her residence for the cast and crew of the film.
What the team is particularly thrilled about is that the film is holding steady at the ticket windows.
While most big films get a good initial over the weekend, they experience a drop in collections from Monday, while OUATIM continues to run to packed houses even after the weekend. And contrary to belief, it is not just in Mumbai.
How he feels...
The Devgn Dude isn't jumping for joy. He is his usual calm and confident self. He has confirmed his presence at the film's success party at Ekta's house, although that is also the night when his wife brings in her birthday. When asked if he is now feeling like the King Of The World, he grins, "Kings come and go. Emperors are for ever."
