The reports have the similar say that Aamir Khan too turned down the offer. Bollywood beefcake Salman's name as host of the popular reality show is in the air.
It is difficult to believe that the mercurial actor will be hosting both 'Dus Ka Dum' on Sony and 'Bigg Boss' 4 on Colors simultaneously.
However, television stops at nothing to surprise you. Colors named Salman as host of 'Bigg Boss' 4 on Tuesday. From the surface, it appears like a swap deal. Khan himself joked that it was indeed a swap. Though, he refused to be drawn into any comparison with Bachchan.
Now the big question is how Salman will carry off two shows on the rival channels that are neck-to-neck in the race for higher TRPs. Well, the answer is no less than a surprise.
"My contract with them (Sony) is over. 'Dus Ka Dum' is a good show and I feel connected to it. If they want me as host, then I'll consider it," said Khan.
It's surprising to hear what Khan said because till yesterday, it was believed that he was signed by Sony for three seasons of 'Dus Ka Dum'. So far, we've seen him hosting two of them.
Has Salman then terminated his contract with Sony? There is no end to this enigma.
Well, we have to put forth this question to Sony's head honchos. At the moment, 'Dus Ka Dum' 3 is slated to come around December. Perhaps, the new season may see a new host.
For now, the fans of 'Bigg Boss' are elated at the selection of Sallu Bhai as host of their favorite reality show on Colors.
