Director Prawal Raman is planning to make a film on the serial killer Shobhraj and he offered the lead role to Emraan. But the actor, who is on a high with the success of his latest release Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai in which he has recently played a gangster, showed his unwillingness to play another negative role consecutively.
Prawal has earlier directed the movies such as Gayab, Loot, Darna Mana Hai and Zabardast.
According to a source close to the actor, "Emraan is not interested to play the same kind of role once again as he does not want to be a typecast. He will definitely do such kind of negative role in future but not right now."
Currently, Shobhraj the accused in the murder case of an American tourist in 1975 is serving a lifelong sentence in Nepal. The 66-year-old is believed to be a psychopath, who has allegedly murdered 12 people all over Asia in the 1970s. Thus he has earned the moniker of 'serpent' and 'bikini killer'.
