Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya lost his mother Kamala Devi on Sunday. The crooner was in Kolkata when he heard
about his mother's serious condition and reached home just a few hours before she passed away.
He says his mother was never fully aware of his fame. "She loved Kumar Sanu's Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaye and Udit
Narayan's Papa Kehte Hain the best.
She used to mentally bless them. From my songs, she liked Vaada Raha Sanam (Khiladi) and Chandni Raat
(Baaghi). She also liked my album Tere Bina but wondered why the girls were skimpily dressed."
