Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has signed the lead pair of Dabangg for his next movie Kick, which will be a remake of 2010 Tamil action comedy film titled Thillalangadi, which is again a Tamil version of the 2009 Telugu movie Kick, which starred Jayam Ravi and Tamannaah in the lead roles.

Sonakshi seems to have become a lucky charm for Salman and he has been impressed by her talents. So, he also recommends this budding actress. In fact, Sajid was planning to cast Deepika Padukone opposite Salman but a recommendation from the actor has supposedly changed his choice.

Sajid has earlier worked with Salman Khan in the movies like Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. According to the sources close to the producer, Sajid watched both the Telugu and Tamil version of the movie and he liked the script. Director A R Murugadoss was earlier supposed to take charge of direction of Hindi version of Kick. However, the director denied the report of doing the movie.

Coming back to Sonakshi, she was also offered a film by Abbas-Mastan with Abhishek Bachchan. It is a remake of the movie The Italian Job. It seems that the new girl Sonakshi's talent has been noticed by all the reputed filmmakers of the country and she might be the next big heroine in Bollywood!
