Anusha Rizvi deserves to be lavished with a shower of praise for her directorial debut Peepli Live. Aamir Khan has produced the movie. Peepli Live is one of the best movies and must watches of the year till date.

In an interview, the journalist cum director shared her feelings about the success of her first directorial venture. She seemed to be in a state of euphoria and said that she is happy with the enormous response of the audience of all ages groups to her cinematic attempt.

Anusha said that her effort to transform a slice of life into a silver screen show for the rational enjoyment of people has borne fruits. She is celebrating her achievement with the movie's cast and crew, consisting of 150 people.

When asked about the reviews, the director said with pleasure that reviews from all over, are positive and overwhelming. The reviews were beyond her expectation.

She was not sure if the detailing that she put into the film would be noticed. But the audience has taken note of it and that is why, she is on high. Her face gleamed with a smile when she expressed her joy to have received kudos from Amitabh Bachchan and other such stalwarts from the industry.
