Superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be honored with the ‘Actor of the Century' award at the Alexandria International Film Festival (AIFF) in Egypt in recognition of his contribution to the world of cinema.The Big B, who is one of the most popular Indian stars all over the world, will be given the award at the concluding ceremony of the festival to be held in Egypt from September 5 to 10.

Bachchan was recently voted as the Superstar of the Millenium through an online poll conducted by BBC and with this award of the Actor of the Century, he adds another feather to his cap.Bachchan has some interesting films coming up, the most prominent being Karan Johar`s multi-starrer Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, in which he plays father to Shah Rukh Khn and Hrithik Roshan.
