The normally reclusive Sanju Baba will promote his film Knock Out with a week-long seven-city tour

Sanjay Dutt is known to shy away from extensive promotions. But with everyone from SRK to Aamir Khan and even the reticent Ajay Devgn coming all out to splash their film, the actor has little option but to join the bandwagon. For the first time, Dutt will be going on a hectic seven-day-seven-city tour to promote his upcoming release, Knock Out.

Accompanying Sanju Baba are his co-stars Kangna Ranaut and Irrfan Khan along with the producer Sohail Maklai.

Sanjay Dutt's business manager Dharam Oberoi says, "The tour is from October 3 to 10. He was to start his first home production Rascals from October 1 in Mumbai, but he's pushed that forward for this. The actors will travel in a specially chartered jet that has been booked for the entire week. Sohail Maklai is a dear friend, and when Baba asked him to do this, he immediately agreed."

Sohail says, "We will be travelling from Mumbai to Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Nagpur and Ahmedabad. Sanju saw Knock Out and loved it so much he immediately gave me dates -- a 25-day stretch, October 1 onwards for promotion.

He wants to go all out for it. Sanju is very keen to also visit Ajmer Shariff dargah. If time permits, we will definitely visit the place. This is the first time that Sanju is travelling for an inter-city tour. Sanju is so excited that he's been giving lots of ideas on how to promote the film. We might be doing something special with him in a few cities."

Well, with film round the corner on 10th September, we will know for sure.
