The 'Mr Unpopular' label has hurt Vivek Oberoi. But he has the ability to laugh away his blues.
"Let them call me what they like. Isn't it fashionable in the media and the film industry to run down an actor who's had a failure?"
There're many reasons for the failure of the new Vivek-Aishwarya- starrer "Kyun! Ho Gaya Na". But Vivek isn't talking.
Apparently director Samir Karnik and his leading man were at loggerheads throughout the film. To add insult to injury, Karnik has now made
friends with Salman Khan who is said to be wooing away whoever he can from Vivek and Aishwarya.
Karnik thinks Salman is a "cool guy" and is planning to make his next film with Salman in the lead. About the flak for "Kyun! Ho Gaya Na", Vivek is more hurt on his ladylove's behalf than his own.
"Those who are busy lashing out at her will eat back their words when they see her performance in Rituparno Ghosh's 'Raincoat'," he predicts defiantly.
