Yash Raj films, has taken a lesson from its recent releases, which could not do well at the box offices. Several films
from YRF like 'Ta Ra Rum Pum', 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom', 'Laga Chunri Mein Daag', 'Aaja Nachle' and the latest
'Lafangey Parindey', failed to impress the viewers.
With all these failures, the production house has made a tough decision that it would not assign any debutant director
for their films in 2011. YRF has determined to change their policy of giving chances to the newcomers.
Next year, the production house will be releasing only three films and all are big budget projects. The three films to be
released by Yash Raj Films in 2011 include 'Dhoom 3', which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, who directed
'Tashan'.
The second film is director Kabir Khan's magnum opus and Yash Chopra himself will direct the
third movie. Kabir Khan's movie is supposed to be the costliest movie ever by the YRF.
This question might be aring in the mind of the audience that why Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Victor was chosen to
direct 'Dhoom 3' when his last film 'Tashan' was a flop at the box office. However, they have a good reason for this as
Victor assisted noted filmmaker Mani Ratnam in Raavan.
A source was quoted saying that Victor, who has polished himself after working with Mani Ratnam, will replace Sanjay
Gadhvi, who was the director of 'Dhoom' and 'Dhoom 2'. Moreover, Sanjay has already completed the three film contract
with YRF.
The film, which will be directed by Kabir Khan, will feature on A-listing stars and Aamir Khan is supposed to go through
the script of 'Dhoom 3' very soon. The source said that nothing would be better if Aamir says yes to the film, where he
has been offered to play the role of the villain.
