Salman Khan is on cloud nine, never mind the ups and downs.
"Garv" had just about been declared a super-hit when "Phir Milenge" came along to fetch him a
truckload of kudos. And just when we thought the Salman season was in full swing, he flopped in "Dil
Ne Jisse Apna Kaha".
Like "Fida", where Salman was supposed to be the 'surprise villain', and "Phir Milenge", the story of
"Dil Ne Jisse Apna Kaha" was being kept a secret.
Salman's new film, directed by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, was about a heart transplant. Preity
Zinta plays Salman's wife. After an accident Preity donates her heart to the ailing Bhoomika Chawla.
The rest of the plot is about how Salman comes close to the other woman with his beloved's heart.
Mushy? You bet!
Not one to lose heart, Salman has flown off to Romania to shoot for his new film produced by Sunil
Manchanda who produced Salman's "Tere Naam" and "Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha".
The film directed by Priyadarshan features Salman with Kareena Kapoor for the first time. The two
were earlier supposed to feature together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ambitious historical epic "Bajirao
Mastani".
