However, Omi has now got the chance to come out of his 'Chatur' image with his two upcoming movies. Speaking about this, the actor said that people love Chatur very much and they don't know much about Omi because he has not got the opportunity to show Omi. He added that his bad Hindi is the main reason behind this and he does a bit of Chatur still in the show because people enjoy it.
Omi was quoted saying that his next movies will change the idea of the people about him because he plays on Indian guy roles in them.
Omi informed that he plays a Kolhapuri guy in Madhur Bhandarkar's upcoming movie Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji and his character has Marathi dialogues and no accent. Omi will also be seen acting with Bollywood stars Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh in Abbas-Mastan's remake of The Italian Job.
Omi is now working hard on his Hindi accent. The actor said that he is taking lessons in Hindi to improve his grab in the language. He finds Hindi to be a very difficult language so he keeps on taking lessons on it whenever he is not on the sets.
On the other hand, Omi misses his wife and family, who are far away in Los Angeles. He keeps travelling between the two countries to balance his personal and professional life.
