John Abraham is awaiting JD Majethia's Khichdi's release. The star and his mom Pheroza were huge fans of the serial and used to enjoy watching it together.

Now since the serial is going to release as a full-length feature film, both mother and son have planned to watch the film together.

Says John, "My mom used to enjoy the TV show a lot and I am glad that it's being made as a film."
