Hrithik Roshan, Yana Gupta, Shiamak Davar and many more Bollywood faces are set to perform
at the Sangeet Awards ceremony in London next month.
The Sangeet Awards, a platform created by the Sahara group for recognising excellence in music, will
be held at Royal Albert Hall, London.
The show will see performances by Hrithik, Adnan Sami, Yana, Sameera Reddy, Rishi Rich Project
from London and Shiamak among others.
The event will be telecast on Sahara Manoranjan at 7.30 p.m. on Oct 10.
"I'm excited as Shiamak is handling all my dances. He is brilliant at his work and is a great dancer
himself. I'm sure we will be able to present something electrifying on the stage," tells Hrithik.
Shiamak said he would himself perform at the show. He has turned to designing too.
So can one expect a designer label named after him now?
"I don't know about that, but at least I have decided that all the costumes of my group will be done by
me as we as dancers know which is the best, perfect fitting. Earlier my troupe's clothes were designed
by Neeta Lulla but now I prefer doing them myself," Shiamak said.
This year, there will be 22 awards in three main categories at the London event.
The jury will comprise Shyam Benegal, Ramesh Sippy, Ken Ghosh, Sameer, Himesh Reshammiya,
Viju Shah, Shiamak Davar and Raju Singh.
