Dusky beauty Nandita Das is on a different high -- motherhood -- and is taking a "break" for her first born Vihaan with industrialist husband Subodh Maskara till she calls the shots for her next directorial venture.

"I am taking a break as of now. I am totally focusing on Vihaan and enjoying motherhood as they say. It's beautiful, " Nandita told.

"I'll be operating from home though. I am the chairperson of CFSI (Children's Film Society of India), so I can't really ignore my duties, " she added.

Having wielded the megaphone for critically-acclaimed political thriller "Firaaq", the actress-turned-director's next project is on human trafficking.

"It is an agreement that I have signed. We are still in the scripting stage. It is a huge project on human trafficking. It is another story that needs to be told. We have been in talks since last November. But pre-production will start only in March next year, " she said.
