Having completed one children's film, Aansoon Bane Moti last year, director Amole Gupte has just helmed another one. Titled Stanley Ka Dabba, the film uses the aroma of a lunchbox as metaphor for young students looking for wisdom beyond school.

The writer of Taare Zameen Par has also acted in With Love To Obama directed by Subhash Kapoor. A satire on the recession, With Love To Obama co-starring Neha Dhupia and Rajat Kapoor, will be released during American president Barack Obama's visit to India in November.
The artist-child activist-turned-filmmaker who plays an extortionist and kidnapper in the film, says, "The plan is to release the film during Obama's visit to India, to generate interest.
And if Obama agrees to watch our film, nothing like it."
Gupte who works with underprivileged children, can't help but marvel at how cinema-savvy they are. "Several of them don't have roofs over their heads. But they talk about Iranian cinema, not Bollywood. I want them to look beyond the formulae in our films."
