Raveena Tandon featured in yet another small-budget film by Kundan Shah that released this
week.
"Ek Se Badhkar Ek", stars Suniel Shetty, Shekhar Suman, Shakti Kapoor, Sadashiv Amrapurkar,
Makarand Deshpande and Raveena.
Raveena's fans, however, will not get to see her onscreen much as she has chosen to take a break
from work after her recent marriage.
"Ek Se..." is a let down from Kundan Shah who is credited for making "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron", one of
the best-ever political satires made in Indian cinema. Though the director has tried hard to revive the
magic of "Jaane...", the effort is too obvious and saddening. Critics say the film is likely to be a
non-starter on the marquees. But when it comes to Indian audiences and their sense of humour, no
one can predict what manages to tickle them.
For fans of Raveena, her failed comic timing will be a let down and hopefully the National Award
winning actor will return with better works after her break.
After this comic caper, she will be seen next in a thriller called "Dobara" by Shashi Ranjan that also
stars Jackie Shroff, Mahima Chaudhary and Muammar Rana.
