Considering that he has vamoosed from the films scenario, it looks like KKK is providing him with a fresh dose of life on his acting front.
His last flick Pyar Impossible was in January this year. His earlier movies like Acid Factory, Gumnaam, Karzz and Anamika remain better erased from memory. At the moment the actor, who is also a restaurateur, is raring for another shot with the silver screen as we ask him. . .
Have there been any movie offers after KKK?
Yes, there are two offers but I am pretty superstitious about these things so I don't want to divulge anything at this stage.
What happened to your long-in-planning production plans?
That is definitely on. I am waiting for KKK to wrap up and then announce the details once everything is in place.
You are proving to be the most agile in KKK?
People are seeing a side of me that they were not aware of. The kind of reaction I have received from both adults and kids is heartening. They wonder how I managed to pull off all those daredevil acts.
Have you too been wondering how you managed the stunts?
I am asking myself the same question. While doing the tasks you are focused but now when I watch myself on TV I really wonder how on earth I did it! How did I allow myself to be dragged below a train! I wonder. I have always been into sports but after doing KKK, it is all about focus, endurance and stamina.
Did the show enable you to overcome your fears?
I am not afraid of anything in particular. So there was this desire to find out what my fears were. But in the end I realised I had no fears to overcome.
Would you participate in another reality show?
I would never do a show like Bigg Boss. Fear Factor and The Amazing Race are the shows I love watching. So when I got a chance I took it.
And I am glad I did I have made some good friends on the show like Shabbir Ahluwalia, Ritwik Bhattacharya, Gattu (Abhishek Kapoor) and Rahul Bose. This experience is something I will always remember and cherish.
You are supposedly the highest paid participant?
Am I? For everything there is a value attached.
What does Nandita Mahtani think of you in KKK?
Why don't you call and ask her! Seriously, I need to know what she thought of me in the show.
Finale tomorrow
The last episode of Fear Factor -- Khatron Ke Khiladi 3 is tomorrow night. Though the channel and the participants are sealed in secrecy, it is already well known now that Shabbir Ahluwalia is the winner. Dino, who provided tough competiton was in the finale act with him but at the last minute Shabbir pipped him to the post.
