The 30 year old actress started her acting career with the Zee TV's serial 'Amanat' in 1997. She played the second eldest sister named 'Dinky' among the seven sisters in the show.
The big screen venture of Gracy was not a very remarkable one even though she got a big break with Lagaan, where she starred opposite superstar Aamir Khan. Later she also acted opposite big Bollywood actors like Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt in Armaan and Munnabhai M.B.B.S respectively. She has also acted as Ajay Devgn's wife in 2003 movie Gangaajal. But the movies released in recent years could not make any mark in the industry.
So, the actress is planning to come back to her root. Speaking about her comeback on television, Gracy was quoted saying that a television channel has offered her to play a central role in a serial.
The actress added that the character offered to her, is very powerful and realistic one. It is quite different from the currently offered shows and their characters, Gracy said. However, the actress said that she has not made any commitment because she is busy with some film projects and dance shows.
In the present scenario of television industry, there are many younger actresses, who are playing the roles of mothers. On this Gracy said that everybody will get their share and she is sure to get her own too considering the fact that she started her career with television.
The actress thinks that television is the biggest medium, which offers the actors an opportunity to connect with the audience. She said that she will very happy if she can work both in the television as well as in films.
Hope the audience gets to watch her again on the small screen very soon!
