Choreographer turned director Farah Khan has finally confirmed the release date of her latest venture Tees Maar Khan. She said that the film starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif will be released on December 24 i. e. on Christmas evening.

Farah has also expressed her delight for not sharing the release date with Aamir Khan's Taare Zameen Par, Ghajini and 3 Idiots, which were released during Christmas and were big hits.

Farah took the micro-blogging site Twitter to share this news. She posted that Tees Maar Khan is releasing on 24th December as Aamir has kindly left the date for them this year.

Apart from Akshay and Katrina, the film also has Akshaye Khanna in the lead role. Salman Khan, who has departed from his long time girlfriend Katrina Kaif recently, will be seen in an item song in this movie. The music director duo Vishal-Shekhar has composed the songs of Tees Maar Khan and Javed Akhtar has penned down the lyrics.

Arya Babbar also plays an important role in this movie, which will have special appearance of veteran star Anil Kapoor.

Farah has recently completed the shooting of the qawalli song 'Walla Walla' in Film City. The song will feature Katrina Kaif along with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan.

The mood of the festive season is likely to turn hotter this December with this big release!
