The release of the much-awaited John Abraham starrer "Jhootha Hi Sahi" has been pushed back by a week.

According to the previous schedule, the film was supposed to hit the theaters across India and worldwide on the 15th of this month. However, the producer of "Jhootha Hi Sahi", Madhu Mantena, in a statement to the media, has confirmed that the release will be delayed by a week as preparations are not yet complete.

While this is bad news for John Abraham fans who have been waiting eagerly to see their favorite actor on screen after a long break, it is probably worse news for A R Rahman fans. Recent reports in the media have repeatedly pointed out the deterioration of the maestro's music in the last couple of soundtracks that he has composed for a handful of films.

Added to this, another fact is that Rahman has not been able to deliver his work in the stipulated time for the second time now in the immediate past. The prime reason for the delay in the release date of "Jhootha Hi Sahi" is that A R Rahman has not been able to complete the background music for the film on time.

One may recall that A R Rahman was also late in coming up with an appropriate background track for the Delhi Commonwealth Games.

Abbas Tyrewala, director of "Jhootha Hi Sahi" is, however, not complaining. He is of the opinion that all artistes should be given their independent creative space. And on a positive note, the extra week will help the unit to promote their new venture.
