With 'Julie', she showed mirror to many, so called, oomph queens in Bollywood and now it's turn for the Hollywood starlets, claims Neha Dhupia.
The latest castoff queen of tinsel-town, who played a call girl in 'Julie', has signed another ‘bold' movie, 'Sheesha', in the same lines of her earlier skin flick.
Produced by Guddu Dhanoa and directed by Ashu Trikha, 'Sheesha' also stars the Hollywood actress Eilidh Macqueen in the lead role.
Ask her if she is worried about some fair skin competition and lashes back, "Why should I be worried? I have an edge over everyone else in the film. In fact I'm thankful to Mr Dhanoa for giving me an opportunity to work with an actress who is known all over the world.
"I certainly can't sell my films wearing sari or salwar kameez. I have no problems exposing to ensure success at the box office. The presence of an international star will only raise the stakes higher. My fans have very high expectations from me and I will not disappoint them."
But Dhupia's confidence is not merely a pep talk. The former Miss India believes in her very word and why not?
According to her: "Girls in the West have been taking off their clothes in front of the camera for a long time now, but in India it is relatively a recent phenomenon. No wonder that watching an Indian actress expose is psychologically more thrilling than to see someone from abroad.
"Foreign women in bikini are common fare in almost every other English film or satellite channel; but girls here have only just started to shed their inhibitions. Few in the past were as bold."
Neha firmly believes that the sleaze breeze is here to stay because the Indian viewers have got used to this trend and will not settle for anything else now.
And finally for all the sceptics who believe that her bare all has left her with nothing much to expose, she has just one thing to say...
"It's going to be a hot, hot appearance once again because that is how I can bring people to the theatres. I have proved myself in the past and will do so again."
