Not every dancer and show performer is a National Award winner. Well, we have one now. Nikita Rawal is a young stunning dancer who has a complete mastery and monopoly when it comes to western, Indian and balle dancing and she is a National Award winner too.

Nikita Rawal won the National Award for a sequence performance in western, Indian and balle dancing, outsmarting 73 other contestants to become the winner. The award function was held in New Delhi, attended by top honchos from the Film fraternity and top politicians of the country.

Mr. Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Bachchan, Rekha are some names who appreciated Nikita's talent for dancing. Where most of the lot came qualified from the biggest dancing institutes of the nation, Nikita was an exception. She has never been trained from any academy or institute when it comes to dancing.

"Whatever I am today is because of my own efforts and passion. I give the sole credit to myself as I have never had any formal dance training. I used to practice dance at home. Most of the steps and moves I performed are my own, " says the proud National award winner.

Nikita had been a strong competitor as she outsmarted every other 73 contestants to bag the award. "This award means a lot to me. It is my biggest achievement till date, " says the promising dancer.
