The beautiful Bengali actress Locket Chatterjee's career is going great guns these days and she has bagged a number of
lucrative projects within the last couple of months.
Reports suggest that Locket has been approached by
Tarun Majumdar to do a very important role on an upcoming TV serial. The TV show will be an adaptation of the famous
Bankim Chandra novel 'Durgeshnandini'.
The veteran director specifically wanted an experienced actress like
Locket to portray a very important role in the serial.
Locket informed us that she is going to play the role of a baiji named Munnibai in the story and her character will die at
the end of the story. Locket agreed to take up the project only because of Tarun Majumdar. The actress had earlier
worked with Tarun Majumdar on his film Chander Bari, where she had a very minor role.
Locket is very excited about the upcoming project and wants to win the accolades of the audience and the critics with her
performance. The shooting schedule will start in Karnataka in December.
Right now Locket is busy playing
the role of Jeet's sister-in-law in ravi Kinagi's new film where she shares the screen with Shrabanti and ferdous. Locket is
all set to start shooting for her next film with debutante director Dipankar Bhattacharya in November.
