Hrithik and Sussanne Roshan held a Halloween costume party at their Juhu home last night. This is the first time any B-Town star has held such a bash.

The bash was held so as to celebrate Sussanne's birthday a day earlier as tomorrow is karva chauth (a festival observed by married women where they fast all day as they believe it will ensure their husband prosperity and a long life).

Revealed a source, "The guests were asked to come in standard horror outfits such as ghosts, ghouls or witches or in any other costume they fancy."

Said Hrithik on Sunday night, "All I can say is that she's the only one who could have pulled this off! Because you just don't wanna say 'no' to Sussanne! Everyone's dressing up, it's going to be fun! I feel like I'm in school again!"

Attendees and absentees

Regulars on the Roshan guestlist didn't make it. Hrithik's close buddy Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for Don 2 in Berlin along with Priyanka Chopra and Lara Dutta.

Duggu's director friend Farhan Akhtar is in Berlin for the same reason. Sussanne's brother Zayed is in London shooting for Tez.

Malaika and Arbaaz Khan are on holiday in Bangkok while Kangna Ranaut is in Paris for the same reason. Twinkle is unwell and gave the do a miss. Katrina Kaif is in Patiala shooting for a film. Shilpa Shetty is in Chennai.

Mrs SRK attended the bash. The Khans' wedding anniversary is tomorrow and the guests at Duggu's party planned to bring in Gauri's shaadi ka saalgirah as well.

Zayed's better half Malaika also attended. Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Arjun and Mehr Rampal, Chunky and Bhavna Pandey, Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor and Seema Khan among others also attended.

Zayed's wife Malaika came dressed as a black magic woman. Chunky and Bhavna Pandey as Julius Caesar and Cleopatra, Sanjay Kapoor as Chulbul Pandey (from Dabangg) and Maheep as a summer fairy.

Riteish Deshmukh was dressed up as Robin Hood.

Uday Chopra was in the gangster mood, Mozez Singh in a combination of rocker Axl Rose meeting Jesus Christ and designer Ana Singh brought out her Hannah Montana persona. Seema Khan looked every bit a vampire.

Arjun Rampal rocked the Joker look (from the last Batman movie) as did his wife Mehr who went as Beatrix the Bride (Uma Thurman's character) from the Kill Bill films. Karan Johar came dressed as a priest.
