If there is one girl in Bollywood, who knows how to get her men on the knees, it has to be Mallika Sherawat.
The girl known for overpowering men has sure left some bitter memories with Ashmit Patel and Emraan Haashmi, her co-stars in 'Murder', perhaps that's why the duo has decided not to rub shoulders with 'kiss-miss' in the near future.
And the recent one to bear testimony is none other than Garam Dharam, who is making his comeback opposite Mallika in Govind Menon's romantic comedy 'Kis Kis Ki Kismat'.
A relaxed Dharmendra says, "It was pleasure working with the spunky Sherawat. I have enjoyed this film as much as any film in my heyday. I am fit as a fiddle, and looking forward to many more films."
But Mallika jumps in to the mutual appreciation club by saying, "It was two Jats working together and it was crazy! Garam Dharam and I share a great chemistry. I was initially very nervous about working with him but then he put me at ease. I learnt from him how to add your own things to comedy."
As happy as she may sound, there are certain discordant voices that never cease to startle Sherawat. And the loudest ones are from the Censor Board geriatrics who've been raising hue and cry over her cheesy act in the latest film.
Apparently the Censor Board want to cut her skirt flying scene reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe's classic ‘The Seven Year Itch' pose.
"I would be upset if they cut it off. It's a part of the film and there's nothing shocking about it. It doesn't affect anyone's sensibilities but is rather cute," she opines and further asks, "Why do they target me all the time? I don't go naked, I don't drink alcohol and nor do I offend anyone but anything of Mallika comes on screen and they start sweating."
We leave this one for Anupam Uncle to answer, however, despite being in a tight spot the jat girl is hardly low on confidence.
Her parting shot: "Mujh mein kuch to hoga (there is something about me) that half of India's and China's male population is mad about me!"
