The leading lady of the movie, Break Ke Baad is finding the coincidences hard to digest. Apparently, the role that she plays in the movie has all the characteristics of ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor.

Aalia, the character that Deepika plays is completely commitment phobic. The same can be said of Ranbir whom she will have to ape in order to project her character properly. The entire Bollywood has now recognized the commitment phobic Ranbir and Deepika certainly can endorse that view as she had been together with the scion of the Kapoor khandaan for almost two years.

Deepika had been caught completely unawares when she got to hear the narration from Danish Aslam, the director of Break Ke Baad She went home pondering over the similarities and wondered whether she could actually bring herself to portray the character. Her relationship with Ranbir had been going nowhere at that time and she had been in a dilemma.

The actress, however, rose to the challenge and decided to give it a try. She has now managed to add a number of nuances to her screen persona that mimicks certain scenes straight from her past. She has always managed to pick up traits from the people that she knows personally especially when it comes to portraying a role in her films.

One of her friends report that while she could play her character role easily enough, the scenes that were intensely emotional were a little difficult for her to handle.
