Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan is one star couple indeed. There is nothing to combat that statement. This is one couple that really doesn't need to be on roof tops to shout out their star power.

The season 3 of 'Koffee with Karan' started off with the right flavor of the aromatic beverage spreading its smell of aura, class and panache with Ash and Abhi making it to the gala opening episode.

As usual, the couple was at their wittiest best. Both answered confidently as they are known to be in the earlier episodes. However, there was a bit tongue in cheek touch in some of the answers given by Aishwarya. This time, she seemed to really let her hair down loose, with certain answers taking even Abhishek quite by surprise or so it seemed.

Karan Johar who is known to be quite an expert at extracting some answers from the most hard core celebrities, was in total relaxed mode as he flung the questions at the hot couple seated opposite him in the plush surroundings. Abhishek, even spoke about the change of the color scheme and several other things about the new season of the coveted show.

The questions put across to cross examine the couple and their thought process was of course the high light of the show, but what was interesting was when the captions from the last season's interviews with Aishwarya on a separate episode, and Abhishek on two separate episodes (one with Preity Zinta and the other with Big B) were shown.

Since the couple had not officially tied the knot then, there was quite an interesting spill of beans from the past when Karan revealed that he and Ash had been on the same flight once, but he just had no clue about her and Abhishek's growing attraction for each other.

The other interesting revelation was when Ash confided that she had more male friends than female ones, and that coming from one of the biggest stars of B-town was really something!

All in all, the show was a grand affair and was of full value for the time spent in front of the telly. Great going, Karan and Kofee combo!
