K Sera Sera, the banner behind films like "Darna Mana Hai" and "Ek Hasina Thi", is diversifying into
television and will be making a serial for Zee TV with famous soap director Ravi Rai.
The shooting for the serial tentatively titled "Kashish" will begin this month under the aegis of the new
subsidiary company called Twenty Twenty Television.
K Sera Sera Productions Ltd., which has an alliance with Ram Gopal Varma, is a listed company with
an international presence and a market cap of Rs. 2 billion.
Said K Sera Sera CEO Kacon Sethi: "Our major plans for television start with a big bang with Ravi Rai
directing 'Kashish'. We are very excited to be working with him."
The award winning director, who has made acclaimed serials like "Sailaab", "Teacher" and "Thoda Hai
Thode Ki Zaroorat", is equally excited: "This is the first time I am working with an outside company. I
have always produced, written and directed my own products. But one meeting with K Sera Sera and I
knew that it was a house where you belong.
"It is a very understanding and progressive team. Not much time wasted, no long discussions. That is a
great time saver for a creative man like me."
